Tour Plan

Day 1: From Casablanca to Rabat:

On the first day of your 12-day tour from Casablanca, you will start your journey at your accommodation or airport and visit popular tourist attractions in the city. Casablanca is a major economic and coastal city in Morocco, known for its iconic Hassan II Mosque. The mosque, which was completed in 1993, was built to commemorate the 60th birthday of former Moroccan King Hassan II and was designed by French architect Michel Pinseau. In addition to the Hassan II Mosque, you will also visit the old Medina and Corniche on this day.

Secondly,you will visit Rabat, the capital city of Morocco that overlooks the Atlantic coast. During your time in Rabat, you will spend the day exploring popular tourist attractions such as the Udayas Kasbah and Hassan Tower. You will also visit the tombs of Moroccan King Mohammed V and his family. After a full day of sightseeing, you will spend the night in a Riad or hotel. Day 2: From Rabat to Tangier:

On the journey to Tangier, you will be treated to stunning views of the coast and the opportunity to visit the charming town of Asilah. Asilah is a small coastal town that blends history, art, and nature into one unique destination. The town is known for its colorful doorsteps adorned with plants and its white walls and blue windows. The old Medina of Asilah is surrounded by walls dating back to the 15th century during the Portuguese occupation, some of which offer breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. As you explore Asilah, you will be able to immerse yourself in the town's rich history and cultural heritage.

After exploring the charming town of Asilah, you will travel to Tangier, another ancient and beautiful town located in the north of Morocco. Tangier is home to a variety of cultural and historical monuments that showcase the city's rich history and the various civilizations that have called it home. Some of the popular tourist attractions you will visit in Tangier include the Cave of Hercules, the Moroccan Art Museum, and the American Legation Museum. Day 3: From Tangier to Chefchaouen:

On this day of your 12-day tour from Casablanca, you will experience a variety of different landscapes and views as you drive through the Rif Mountains. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the stunning mountain towns and scenery. Your first stop will be at the beautiful Akchour Waterfalls in Tetouan, also known as the White Dove City. Afterward, you will visit the Blue Pearl City, a mountain town that is a popular destination for lovers, couples, and photographers on Morocco trips. The town is known for its picturesque blue and white buildings and walls, as well as its historical attractions such as the Kasbah Museum and the Grand and Spanish Mosques. After a full day of exploring, you will spend the night in a Riad.

Day 4: From Chefchaouen ~ Volubilis ~ Meknes ~ Fes:

Day 5: Discovering Fes on a Guide Tour:

As part of your 12-day tour from Casablanca, you will have the opportunity to join a guided tour of Fes, the capital of traditional industry and the center of handicrafts in Morocco. Fes is also the oldest city and the scientific center of Morocco, and it is home to a variety of archaeological attractions that speak to its rich history and the various civilizations that have called it home. One of the highlights of your tour will be a visit to the Al-Qarawiyyin University, which was founded in 859 by Fatima Al-Fihri and is one of the most scientific institutions and tourist sites in Fes. Your guide will also lead you to other sites such as the Chourara Tanneries, Ceramic Cooperative, and the Blue Gate, as well as the Marinid tombs on a hill overlooking the old Medina of Fes. After a full day of sightseeing, you will spend the night in the same Riad.

Day 6: Fes ~ Ifran ~ Cedar Forest ~ Ziz Valley ~ Erfoud ~ Merzouga:

On day 6 of your 12-day tour from Casablanca, you will have the chance to explore the Middle Atlas Mountains. From Fes, you will journey through the mountains and visit a number of important tourist attractions. Your first stop will be in the mountain town of Ifran, also known as Moroccan Switzerland and one of the cleanest towns in the world. While in Ifran, you will have the opportunity to visit the loin stone in the park. Next, you will stop in the Cedar Forest near Azrou town, the oldest and longest forest in Morocco. The forest is home to impressive trees that can reach heights of 40 to 60 meters and is home to Barbary apes. After enjoying the beauty of the Cedar Forest, you will continue on to Midelt, the capital city of apples in Morocco. From there, you will visit the Ziz Valley, which offers panoramic views of palm oases, and Erfoud city, where you can visit a traditional date fruit market and the Fossil Museum. Finally, you will drive to Merzouga and spend the night in a Riad or hotel.

Day 7: Merzouga Desert Tour and Camel Trip:

Day 7 of your 12-day tour from Casablanca is sure to be a highlight of your trip. You will have the chance to experience two exciting adventures: a desert tour by 4x4 and a camel trekking trip. During your desert tour, you will visit the Khamlia village to enjoy the music and art of the Gnaoua ethnic group from West Africa. You will also visit a national museum of off-road cars, such as Jeeps and Land Rovers, and meet Berber nomads in traditional tents, who will serve you Berber pizza and tea for lunch. In addition, you will visit the Shrij Lake and a palm oasis.

After your desert tour, you will embark on a camel trekking trip, spending the night in a camp in the dunes. You will join a local camel guide and watch the sunset from the top of the dunes. In the evening, locals will serve you a traditional dinner and entertain you with music around the campfire. Day 8: Merzouga ~ Rissani ~ Touroug ~ Todra Gorges ~ Dades Valley:

On day 8 of your 12-day tour from Casablanca, you will continue your journey through Morocco and visit a number of interesting and unique destinations. After waking up early to watch the sunrise from the top of the dunes, you will enjoy a hot shower and breakfast before setting off for the day. Your first stop will be in the town of Rissani, the original home of the family of the current Moroccan Kings. While in Rissani, you will visit a traditional market and the mausoleum of the grandfather of the Alaouites, Moulay Ali Sharif.

Next, you will drive through the palm oasis of Tafelalite to Jorf town, where you will have the opportunity to explore an underground irrigation channel called the Khettara, an ancient waterway used for irrigating palm groves. In Touroug village, you will have the chance to dress in traditional Berber clothing and take pictures. You will also visit the Todra Gorges, a beautiful river surrounded by high cliffs and rocks, and the Rock Formations, also known as the Monkey Fingers. After a full day of sightseeing, you will spend the night in a Riad in the Dades Valley, including dinner.

Day 9: Dades Valley ~ Skoura ~ Ouarzazate ~ Ait Ben Haddou ~ Marrakech:

On day 9 of your 12-day tour from Casablanca, you will have the opportunity to explore the High Atlas Mountains and the Road of Thousands Kasbahs. Along the way, you will encounter a variety of kasbahs, traditional fortified houses found throughout the region. Your first stop will be in Klaat M'Gouna, where you will visit the Rose Valley, where locals collect tons of roses and turn them into products such as rose soap and rose cream. You will also stop in Skoura, where you can visit the Amridil Kasbah and its oases.

Next, you will visit the city of Ouarzazate, where you can explore the Taourirt Kasbah, a 19th-century fortification, and the Atlas Film Studios. You will also visit the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a beautiful example of southern Moroccan architecture and a popular movie location for films such as Kingdom of Heaven and Alexander. Finally, you will drive through the Tizi-N-Tichak pass in the Atlas Mountains, enjoying panoramic views along the way, before arriving in Marrakech. You will spend the night in a Riad.

Day 10: Guided Tour in Marrakech:

On day 10 of your 12-day tour from Casablanca, you will have the chance to participate in a guided tour of Marrakech, also known as the Red City due to the color of its buildings. Marrakech is a city with a rich history and a wealth of historical monuments designed in the Andalusian style of architecture. During your tour, your guide will lead you to a number of popular tourist attractions, such as the Majorelle Garden, which contains rare plants and flowers, and the Menara Garden, which features a large reservoir in the middle.

You will also visit the Koutoubia Mosque, Ben Youssef School, and the Jemaa El Fna Square, among other sites. After a full day of exploring Marrakech, you will spend the night at the same Riad. This city is full of cultural and historical treasures that are sure to fascinate and delight you.

Day 11: From Marrakech to Essaouira:

On day 11 of your 12-day tour from Casablanca, you will have the chance to visit Essaouira, also known as the Wind City. Before arriving in Essaouira, you will stop to see the Argan trees and the goats that often climb to the top of these trees. Essaouira is a coastal city with a rich history, and it features a number of squares, walls, and historical monuments that reflect its ancient past. Like other cities in Morocco, it has fortified walls that were built to protect it from invaders.

During your visit to Essaouira, you will have the opportunity to spend the whole day exploring the city and enjoying its fresh climate. You can wander through the old Medina and discover its many charming streets and squares. Finally, you will spend the night in a Riad. Day 12: From Essaouira to Casablanca or Marrakech:

We will drive you to either the airport in Casablanca or Marrakech, depending on your flight arrangements. When we reach the airport, we will drop you off and say farewell, completing the 12-day tour from Casablanca.
