Tour Plan

Day 1: Airport – Casablanca

On this private tour of Morocco, you will be greeted with a transfer from the airport to your hotel in Casablanca. Depending on the time of your arrival, you may have the opportunity to visit some of the city's popular tourist attractions, such as the Hassan II Mosque, Moroccan Mall shopping center, and a nearby beach. This will allow you to get a taste of what Morocco has to offer and help you become more familiar with your surroundings.

Day 2: Casablanca – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes

On the second day of your tour, you will have the chance to finish exploring the tourist sites of Casablanca that you were unable to visit on the first day. After lunch in the city, you will travel to Meknes, a former imperial city located in one of Morocco's main wine regions. You will have the opportunity to briefly explore Meknes before continuing on to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. Here, you can take the time to explore the ruins and mosaics on your own or hire a local guide for a more in-depth experience. After that, you will travel to Fes, where you will spend the night at a local riad or hotel.

Day 3: Exploring Fes – guided tour of the city

On the third day of your tour, you will spend the day sightseeing in Fes, the spiritual capital of Morocco. You will visit several notable places, including the Medieval Medina, the Nejjarine fountain, the Moulay Idriss mausoleum, and the Karaouine Mosque (external visits only). You will have the option to have lunch at a traditional restaurant in the heart of the Medina. In the late afternoon, you will visit the souks and Fes Jdid (New Fes) before returning to your hotel.

Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga Desert

On the fourth day of your tour, you will depart from Fes after breakfast and drive towards Ifrane, a city known as "the Switzerland of Morocco." You will then continue on to Midelt and pass through the Ziz Valley to reach the city of Erfoud, which is known for its local fossil products. You will have the option to stop and learn more about the region and the fossils. After visiting Erfoud, you will head to the ancient market town of Rissani to explore its souk. The journey will end for the night in Merzouga, where you will stay in a hotel on the edge of the desert dunes.

Day 5: Merzouga Desert and camel trek to desert camp

On the fifth day of your tour, you will have the opportunity to explore the desert region of Erg Chebbi by camel (optional). After breakfast, you will drive to a checkpoint in the Merzouga desert, where you will switch from your 4x4 to a camel. You will be guided by an experienced camel guide as you journey to the campsite, which takes about 90 minutes. Once you arrive, you will have the chance to watch a beautiful sunset over the dunes. After dark, you will spend the night in traditional Berber tents under the desert sky.

Day 6: Merzouga Desert – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges

On the sixth day of your tour, you will wake up early to catch the sunrise over the dunes before returning to a local hotel to freshen up and have breakfast. After that, you will travel through Rissani and Tinghir to Todra Gorge, the highest and narrowest gorge in Morocco. After lunch at the gorge, you will drive through the Dades Valley, stopping to enjoy the view of a geological feature known as "Monkey Toes." You will spend the night in the Dades valley.

Day 7: Dades Gorges – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

On the seventh day of your tour, you will drive towards Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate, also known as "the African Hollywood." You may have the opportunity to visit a local film studio and kasbah (fortress) in this area. After that, you will go to Ait Ben Haddou to visit the largest kasbah in Morocco, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will then continue over the High Atlas Mountains until you reach Marrakech, where you will spend the night.

Day 8: Marrakech guided tour

On the eighth day of your tour, you will have the opportunity to fully explore Marrakech. You will visit the main attractions and monuments of the city, including the famous Jamma el Fna Square, the Koutoubia Mosque, the souks, palaces, and museums. You will also have the chance to explore other parts of the city, such as Gueliz, the Menara Gardens, and the Majorelle Museum. After lunch at a local restaurant, you will have some free time to further explore the city on your own. You can return to the Jamma el Fna Square for dinner at one of the many food stalls or visit a hammam. You will then return to your Marrakech hotel/riad for the night.

Day 9: Marrakech – Essaouira (1-day excursion)

On the ninth day of your tour, you will have a guided tour of Essaouira, a historic city on the Atlantic coast known for its 18th-century ramparts (called Skala de la Kasbah) and relaxed Medina. After the tour, you will return to your Marrakech hotel/riad for the final night of the trip.

Day 10: Marrakesh – Casablanca Med V airport

On the tenth and final day of your tour, you will be driven back to Casablanca, where your tour will come to an end.
