Tour Plan

Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat

On the first day of the tour, you will arrive at Casablanca airport, where you will be met by our team. From there, we will drive to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. In Casablanca, you will have the opportunity to visit the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque outside of Mecca. In Rabat, you will see the Hassan Tower and explore the Oudaya Kasbah before checking into your overnight accommodation in a riad located in the Medina.

Day 2: Rabat – Assilah – Tangier – Chefchaouen

On the second day of the tour, you will have breakfast at your riad before setting out for Chefchaouen. The drive will take you through the city of Asilah, which is known for its annual art festival where the walls of the Medina are painted by artists from around the world. You will stop to visit the Skalla fortress, which offers a beautiful view of the Medina and the ocean. If time allows, you will also take a brief drive through Tanger. From there, you will continue on to Chefchaouen, traveling over the foothills of the Rif Mountains.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Fes

On the third day of the tour, you will have breakfast at your riad before setting off for Fes, known as the "Spiritual City of Morocco." You will spend the morning exploring the Medina and its alleys, visiting sites of cultural and historical interest such as the Al Karaouine Mosque and University (the oldest in the world), the Madrasa Bouanania, the Tanneries, and the Najjarine fountain. After lunch, you will travel outside the Medina to see the Royal Palace gate and walk through the Jewish quarter, known as the Mellah. You will also visit a pottery cooperative and drive to one of the fortresses for a panoramic view of the entire Medina of Fes.

Day 4: Fes – Azrou – Midlet – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

On the fourth day of the tour, you will have breakfast at your riad before embarking on a journey southeast to Merzouga. You will stop in Ifran, known as the "Switzerland of Morocco," and continue on to Merzouga via Midlet and the Ziz Valley. Along the way, you will see the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains and stop at the famous cedar forest, home to Barbary apes. As you approach Er Rachidia, you will see hints of the desert in the changing scenery. After lunch in Midelt, you will continue along the Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way. You will pass through Berber villages to Erfoud and Rissani, the foundation of the Alaouite dynasty, the current ruling royal family in Morocco. Upon arriving in Merzouga, you will go on a guided camel ride through the sand sea of Merzouga. You will spend the night in a desert camp equipped with flush toilets and have dinner there.

Day 5: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges

On the fifth day of the tour, you will wake up early in the morning to watch the sunrise with your camel guide. Afterward, you will return to the village of Merzouga, taking in the unique beauty of the Erg Chebbi dunes along the way. After breakfast at your riad, you will head to the Dades Valley and visit the Todra Gorges, the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco. After lunch in the valley, you will have the option to go on a one-hour hike through the fields, where you will visit an old mud village and meet locals to learn about their culture. You will then continue through the Dades Valley, where you will see majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as "monkey toes." You will spend the night in a hotel overlooking the Dades valley.

Day 6: Dades Gorge – Rose Valley – Ouarzazat – Marrakech

After breakfast at your hotel, you will set off on a drive through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M'gouna and Ouarzazat. The route through the Dades Valley, known as the way of the thousand kasbahs, offers many opportunities for photography. You will stop in Kalaa Mgouna, the "rose city," to purchase rosewater that will make your linen smell nice long after the trip is over. You will continue on to Skoura and the bird's valley, visiting the Kasbah Ameridil along the way. From there, you will travel to Marrakech and check into your riad. After dinner, you will have the option to explore the famous Jemaa El Fna square, where you can enjoy performances by magicians, storytellers, musicians, and snake charmers. You will spend the night at your local riad or hotel.

Day 7: Exploring Marrakech & transfer to Casablanca airport

After breakfast at your riad, you will start exploring Marrakech, the "Red City of Morocco." Your guide will ensure that you see the most important historical and cultural sites, including the famous Jemaa El Fna square, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian tombs, the Palace of Bahia, and the Majorelle Gardens. You will also visit the new city of Marrakech and see the Koutoubia tower. In the evening, you will be driven to the airport for your departure flight, which will end the tour.
