Tour Plan

Day 1: Marrakesh – Tizi-n-Tichka pass – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorge

On the first day of the tour, we'll start by admiring the stunning views of the Atlas Mountains as we make our way through the Tizi-n-Tichka pass. Our next stop will be the Ait Ben Haddou, a Unesco World Heritage site that has been featured in many films, including the Gladiator and Game of Thrones. After that, we'll visit the Atlas Film Studios and a Kasbah in Ouarzazate. We'll then travel to the valley of Roses, which is known for its annual Festival of Roses. Finally, we'll head to Dades Gorges for the night.

Day 2: Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Rissani – Merzouga desert

On day two of the tour, we'll embark on a 4x4 adventure to Todra Gorge, a narrow canyon known for its vibrant colors and popularity with outdoor enthusiasts. From there, we'll travel through the Ziz Valley to Erfoud, an oasis town that is known as the gateway to the Sahara desert and is famous for its unique fossils. We'll have the opportunity to visit a local factory that produces artisanal and home decor items made from fossils, and there will also be a local shop where you can purchase souvenirs made from fossils. After that, we'll continue to Rissani, where we'll visit the local souk. We'll then drive to the desert to reach Merzouga, where we'll leave our vehicle and embark on a camel ride into the desert dunes with experienced guides. We'll stay overnight in Berber tents at the Merzouga Desert Camp, where we'll enjoy a traditional Berber dinner and tribal music around a campfire under the stars. It will be an unforgettable experience.

Day 3: Merzouga desert

This day will be spent exploring the Merzouga desert. You’ll get a chance to “do your own thing”, with the option of camel trekking, or exploring via the comfort of a 4×4. We’ll also visit the Khamlia village famous for its traditional music. We simply can’t miss the opportunity of appreciating the sunset behind the dunes of the bewildering Sahara desert. Overnight at a local riad.

Day 4: Merzouga – Midelt – Fes

On day four of the tour, we'll wake up early to watch the sunrise in the desert before taking a camel ride back to a local hotel to freshen up. After breakfast, we'll drive through Rissani and Erfoud to Midelt in the Atlas Mountains, where we'll stop for lunch. From there, we'll continue to Fes where we'll spend the night in a local hotel.

Day 5: Fes – Chefchaouen

On day five of the tour, we'll spend the day exploring the city of Fes, the oldest in Morocco. The city is divided into three parts: Fes el Bali, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the oldest part of the city with more than 9,000 narrow streets and alleys protected by a large wall; Fes-Jdid, or "new Fes," which is home to the Jewish quarter; and the Ville Nouvelle, which was created during the French occupation and is the newest part of the city. Later in the day, we'll drive to Chefchaoune, where we'll spend the night.

Day 6: Chefchaoun – Marrakesh

Today we visit the main attractions and monuments of Chefchaoune, before driving to your hotel in Marrakesh.

Day 7: Airport transfer
