Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Hadou Kasbah – Ouarzazate – Agdez – Zagora

The 2-day Zagora desert tour begins with pick-up from your Marrakech accommodation or airport in the morning. The journey includes a drive through Tizi N-tichka pass, Berber villages, and scenic stops. Next, we visit the stunning Ait Ben Hadou Kasbah, a world heritage site that served as the set for Hollywood films like Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia, as well as TV series like Game of Thrones. After lunch in Ait Ben Haddou or Ouarrzazate, we travel through the Anti Atlas Mountains, Berber villages, and along the Draa Valley, known for its palm plantations and longest river in Morocco. Upon arrival in Zagora in the afternoon, you embark on a camel trek in the desert and watch a breathtaking sunset. The tour ends at the Sahara desert camp where you will enjoy a Moroccan dinner and drum entertainment under the starry sky.

After lunch, we'll continue our journey through the stunning landscapes of Morocco, including the Anti Atlas Mountains, Berber Villages, and Draa Valley, the largest palm plantation and longest river in the country. In the afternoon, we'll arrive in Zagora, where you'll have the opportunity to go on a camel trek in the desert and watch a magnificent sunset. Afterwards, we'll head to a Sahara desert camp for a delicious Moroccan dinner and an entertaining drum performance under the starry sky.

Day 2: Zagora to Marrakech

After an early awakening for a camel ride across the sand dunes to witness the enchanting sunrise, we'll enjoy a traditional Moroccan breakfast. Next, we'll head to Ouarzazate, known as "The Gate of the Desert," where we'll visit the Taourirt Kasbah and movie studios where famous films were filmed. On our return to Marrakech, we'll travel through the Tizi Ntichka pass and the High Atlas mountains. Your 2-day Zagora desert tour concludes with a drop-off at your Marrakech accommodation or airport.
