The old town, or medina, in Chefchaouen showcases a unique blend of Spanish and Moroccan architecture, reflecting its history as a former part of Spanish Morocco. The charming square is filled with artisanal shops and colorful markets, as well as rooftop restaurants and cafes. After a relaxing afternoon and evening, we'll settle into one of the cozy Riads, where you can take in the views and enjoy the cool breeze.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

The next day, we'll start with a delicious breakfast before setting off to Volubilis, passing through Ouazan and other picturesque Rif villages. In Volubilis, we'll delve into the rich history of the Roman ruins, learning about Morocco's past. After that, we'll move on to Meknes where we'll have lunch and explore the historic walls of the medina, including the impressive Bab el Mansour gate, and visit the Moulay Ismail shrine. In the late afternoon, we'll arrive in Fes where we'll spend the night, immersing ourselves in the vibrant culture of one of Morocco's oldest imperial cities.

Day 3: Fes Sightseeing

On the following day, we'll set out to explore the ancient city of Fes, winding our way through its maze-like alleys and narrow streets. Our tour begins at the Royal Palace gate, then moving to Jewish quarter, the Mellah, one of the first Jewish quarters in Morocco, built in the 16th century. You'll have the opportunity to visit all the historical and cultural sites in the city, such as the renowned Al-Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region, and the fascinating Tanneries, where leather is still produced using traditional methods. Additionally, we'll visit the Attarine museum and the Moulay Idriss mausoleum. After lunch, we'll have the chance to visit various cooperatives, before finishing the day with a panoramic view of the whole Medina of Fes.

Day 4: Fes – Rabat – Casablanca

Fes, one of Morocco's oldest imperial cities, is divided into three parts: Fes el Bali, which is the oldest and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is home to over 9000 narrow streets and alleys that are protected by a large wall. The Fes-Jdid, also known as "new Fes," is the location of the Jewish quarter and the Ville Nouvelle, the newest sector of Fes, created during the French occupation. We'll spend the day exploring these different parts of the city before heading to the modern city of Rabat and the cosmopolitan city of Casablanca later in the day.

Day 5: Casablanca – Assilah – Tangier
