Tour Plan

Day 1: Tangier ~ Asilah:

The tour of 15 days in Tangier will start by exploring the city itself. As the gateway between Africa and Europe, Tangier boasts a rich history and diverse landscapes, including the vibrant old Medina. Some of the main attractions we will visit include the Caves of Hercules and the American legation, the first American property outside the USA.

After exploring Tangier, we will travel along the coast to Asilah, a bright and fresh town on the Atlantic coast known for its stunning views of the sea. The town is surrounded by well-preserved ramparts and gates dating back to the 15th century, when it was under Portuguese control. During our visit, there will be free time to explore the old Medina and admire the colorful artwork and paintings that attract art lovers from around the world. We will spend the night in a fancy accommodation

Day 2: Asilah ~ Rabat, the Capital City:

Today, we will explore the city of Rabat, the capital of Morocco and one of the imperial cities. Rabat is known for its ancient monuments that showcase the city's rich Islamic and French-colonial heritage. Some of the landmarks we will visit include the Hassan Tower, a famous site that was intended to be the largest mosque and minaret in the world before work was stopped due to the death of the Sultan, and the Oudaya Kasbah, a UNESCO site that was built in the 12th century and is a popular spot for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful walls that catch the sun in the afternoon.

We will also visit the mausoleum of Mohamed V and take a walk through the narrow streets of the Medina, lined with crafts. After our exploration of Rabat, we will check into a local Raid for the night.

Day 3: Rabat ~ Casablanca:

One of the highlights of our visit to Casablanca today is a tour of the great Hassan II Mosque. As the largest city and economic center of Morocco, Casablanca is home to many tourist attractions, including this iconic mosque, which was completed in 1993 and stands partly over the water. It is decorated with Moorish style and European art, and non-Muslim tourists are welcome to enter.

In addition to visiting the mosque, we will also visit the museum of Moroccan Judaism, which provides insight into the history, religion, traditions, and daily life of Jews in Moroccan society. After exploring the museum, we will visit the old Medina and other tourist attractions such as the King's Palace before checking into our accommodation for the night.

Day 4: Casablanca ~ Essaouira:

As part of our 15-day tour from Tangier, we will be visiting Essaouira, also known as Mogador. Located on the Atlantic Ocean, Essaouira is a fishing port that offers a relaxing coastal breeze and many enjoyable activities to explore. It is also a popular spot for surfing, attracting surfers from around the world.

During our visit, we will have the opportunity to participate in a range of activities such as biking, quad biking, and camel riding by the sea. We will also explore the ramparts that were built by the French military in 1760 to protect the port from raiders. From the ramparts, we will have a magical view of the sea with its blue fishing boats and seagulls flying overhead. After a day of exploration, we will check into our accommodation for the night.

Day 5: Essaouira ~ Marrakech:

After breakfast, we will take you to Medina, where you will have plenty of time to explore the walled city with its narrow streets lined with handicrafts. You will also have the chance to visit an art gallery and try some of the fresh seafood that the city is known for.

As we make our way to Marrakech, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the stunning view of goats climbing Argan trees. We will also visit an Argan oil cooperative before continuing on to Marrakech, where we will check into our local Riad for the night.

Day 6: Marrakech ~ Guided Tour:

Marrakech is one of Morocco's ancient and imperial cities, founded in 1962 and serving as the capital of the Almoravid Empire during the 12th century. The 15-day tour from Tangier includes a guided tour of the city's many tourist attractions with a local guide. Some of the places we will visit include the Bahia Palace, the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian Tombs, and the Jardine Majorelle.

We will also visit the bustling Jamaa El-Fna square, where a variety of activities take place throughout the day. Here, you will have the chance to browse the local markets and discover traditional items from the region. We will make sure to visit all the important sites before spending another night at the same Riad.

Day 7: Marrakech ~ Ouzoud Waterfalls ~ Marrakech :

Experience the beauty of nature with a 15-day tour from Tangier, featuring a day trip to the popular Ouzoud Waterfalls. Surrounded by stunning landscapes with a range of colors and playful monkeys, the waterfalls empty into the El-Abid River, creating rainbows in the process. After spending the day relaxing and enjoying the scenery, we will return to Marrakech for the night, staying at the same Raid hotel.

Day 8: From Marrakech – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley:

Discover the beauty of Morocco's High Atlas Mountains. We will visit an Argan oil cooperative to learn about the traditional production of cosmetics, and take a scenic drive through the Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass. Along the way, we will stop to take in the breathtaking views of the mountains.

Next, we will visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, a stunning example of adobe architecture. We will also visit Ouarzazate, known as the "Hollywood of Africa" due to its Atlas Studios where many movies, including Game of Thrones and Gladiator, have been filmed. You will have the opportunity to visit the studio and learn about the film industry in Morocco.

After exploring the Rose Valley and its famous rose products, we will drive to Dades Valley and check into a local Riad for the night, nestled in the mountains.

Day 9: From Dades Valley – Todgha Gorges – Merzouga Desert/

Explore the stunning Todgha or Todra Gorges, a natural oasis of limestone river canyons that is perfect for rock climbing and adventure walking tours. You will have the chance to walk through the canyon, surrounded by towering rocks that reach up to 300 meters in height.

Afterwards, we will drive to Touroug for lunch in a palm grove oasis and visit a Berber cloth cooperative. You will also have the opportunity to learn about the traditional irrigation system used in palm tree groves.

Next, we will visit the fossil and date city of Erfoud, where the annual date festival takes place. Then, it's off to the Merzouga desert for a camel trekking adventure. Your camel guide will stop to watch the sunset and try sandboarding. In the evening, locals will entertain you with music and drumming around the campfire under the starry desert sky.

Day 10: Merzouga: Desert Excursions:

One of the highlights of your 15-day tour from Tangier will be the opportunity to witness the magical sunrise over the dunes. After an early wake-up call, we will set off on a desert tour to explore the various regions of the desert.

First, we will visit the Khamlia village, home to black skinned people from Mali, where you can listen to their unique music and learn about their way of life. Afterwards, we will take an off-road drive towards the black desert to visit nomad families living in hand-made tents. You will also have the chance to visit the Mifis mines area and see the daily work of Berbers in pits that are up to 30 meters deep.

Later, we will drive to Sahjri Lake or Flamingo's lake, where you can observe a variety of birds and see camels being herded. We will also visit one of the palm tree groves in the desert. Get ready for an unforgettable experience.

Finally, we will make our way back to our accommodation and spend the night there. Get ready to rest and recharge after a full day of exploring and experiencing all that the desert has to offer

Day 11: From Merzouga ~ Rissani ~ Midelt:

Our next destination is Rissani, an old town known for its historic market that takes place on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. You will have the chance to explore the traditional souk filled with handicrafts.

Afterwards, we will visit the fossil shops in Erfoud and see the unique fossil marble products such as tables, sinks, and fountains. We will also drive along the Ziz Valley and stop for panoramic views of the palm tree groves.

Finally, we will make our way through the mountains to Midelt, a commercial center of agriculture located between the Atlas Mountains and the Middle Atlas Mountains. We will spend the night at a local accommodation.

Day 12: From Midelt ~ Meknes ~ Volubilis ~ Fes:

Today, our 15-day tour from Tangier will take us through the Middle Atlas region. First, we will visit the Cedar Forest, home to barbarian apes that you can watch swinging through the trees.

Next, we will head to Meknes, one of the imperial cities and the capital of Moulay Ismail in the 17th century. Moulay Ismail transformed the city into a beautiful Spanish-Moorish style metropolis, surrounded by high walls and adorned with impressive architectural doors. You will have the opportunity to explore the many tourist attractions of the 17th century, including the old Medina and the Bab Monsour, a gate built in 1732. You will also visit the Shrij Swani Lake, the mysterious Qara prison, and the Moulay Ismail mausoleum, among other sites.

Later, we will visit Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site and an important archaeological site with Roman ruins. Finally, we will drive to Fes city and check into a local Riad for the night.

Day 13: Fes: Guided Tour:

As part of our 15-day tour from Tangier, you will get to experience a guided tour of the city of Fes. After breakfast, you will set out with a local guide to explore the narrow streets and hidden areas of the Medina. You will visit the University of Al-Karaouine, the first university in the world, and the Royal Palace Gate, the Jewish headquarter, and the Tanneries. You will also have the opportunity to visit a tiles cooperative and get a panoramic view of the entire Medina of Fes. Your guide will make sure to show you all of the important sites of the city and ensure that you have a thorough understanding of its history and culture. Afterwards, you will spend another night at the same Riad.

Day 14: Fes ~ The Blue Pearl Chefchaouen:

If visiting Chefchaouen has been on your bucket list, your dream is about to come true on our 15-day tour from Tangier. After breakfast in Fes, we will set off with excitement towards Chefchaouen, passing through various villages and taking in the stunning landscapes of the Rif Mountains.

Once we arrive in Chefchaouen, you will have free time to wander the city and admire its enchanting landscapes and beautiful blue and Moorish buildings. You can spend the night in a local Riad, getting a true taste of Moroccan culture and hospitality.

Day 15: Chefchaouen ~ Tangier:
