Our first stop will be in Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco due to its alpine climate and European style. Ifrane is also home to ski stations and a large national park and is known as the second cleanest town in the world. From there, we will drive to the Cedar Forest near Azrou, a Berber village and the oldest and largest forest in the country. There, you can enjoy walking around the forest and seeing the tall Cedar trees and local monkeys.

After visiting the Cedar Forest, we will continue on to Midelt, one of the industrial centers in Morocco known for its apple production and fossils. Along the way, we will see nomad tents and their herds on the side of the road. In Midelt, we will have lunch and then drive through the Tizi-N-Talghamt pass and the Zabel Tunnel to reach the Ziz Valley, where we will stop for a panoramic view of the valley of dates. From there, we will drive through the palm oases towards Erfoud city, where you will have the chance to explore the traditional market with its variety of date fruits and local products such as fossils and spices. We will then drive along the mountains, where locals hunt for fossils and geological trips are organized, before arriving in Merzouga. In Merzouga, you will spend the night in a Riad or hotel, with dinner and breakfast included.

Day 2: Merzouga: desert excursion by 4×4 and camel trekking trip:

On the second day of our 5-day tour from Fes to Marrakech, we will spend the day in the small village of Merzouga, surrounded by golden dunes. There are many desert activities to enjoy in Merzouga, and today you will have the chance to experience most of them. Firstly, you will visit the Sahrij Lake in the west of Merzouga, which attracts flamingos, desert sparrows, and other birds during the spring. You will then visit the Khamlia village, also known as the Gnawa village, where you will meet the Grnawa musical group and watch them play music. You will also have the opportunity to explore the black desert and enjoy the views of the dunes. Around 50 kilometers from the border of Algeria, you will visit nomads living in traditional tents and have lunch with them. Afterwards, you will visit a challenging work mine.

Later in the day, you will embark on a camel trekking adventure, riding camels across the dunes and enjoying the sunset. You will also have the chance to try sandboarding in the camp. After dinner, you will be entertained with drum music around the campfire and have the chance to see the stars and the Milky Way on top of the dunes near the camp. Finally, you will spend the night in tents to experience nomad style.

Day 3: From Merzouga to Dades Valley/ Dades Goges:

On the third day of our 5-day tour from Fes to Marrakech, we will wake up early to watch the sunrise, a must-do experience. After enjoying a hot shower and breakfast at the camp, we will return to our accommodation and continue our journey to other destinations. Our first stop will be in Rissani, a commercial center known for its lively market that takes place three times a week. At the market, you can see different sections such as dates, vegetables, animals, clothes, and handicrafts. The brick village has been declared a World Heritage Site since 1987 and is known for its architectural homes and corner towers. While there are still a few residents living in the kasbah, most have moved to the modern village. Today, the kasbah is often used as a movie set, with films such as Gladiator, Alexander, and Game of Thrones being filmed there.
