Tour Plan

Day 1: Marrakesh – Tizi-n-Tichka Pass – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorge

Your private tour begins with breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains as we drive through the Tizi-n-Tichka pass to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its appearances in films like The Gladiator and the TV series Game of Thrones. We'll then head to Ouarzazate to visit Atlas Film Studios and a local Kasbah. From there, we'll travel to the valley of Roses, known for its annual Festival of Roses. We'll spend the night in Dades Gorge, at a local hotel where you can enjoy a complimentary dinner.

Day 2: Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Rissani – Merzouga Desert

Next, we'll take a 4x4 tour to Todra Gorge, a narrow canyon known for its vibrant colors and outdoor activities. We'll continue on to the Ziz Valley and arrive in Erfoud, an oasis town known as the gateway to the Sahara desert and famous for its fossil production. Here, we can visit a local factory that creates artisan and home decor items from fossils, and there is also a shop where you can purchase these items as souvenirs.

After that, we'll travel to Rissani, where we'll visit the local market, and then continue on to the desert to reach Merzouga, where we'll stay overnight at a local riad.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert

Today is all about exploring the Merzouga desert. You can choose to go camel trekking or take a 4x4 tour to see the sights. We'll also visit the Khamlia village, known for its traditional music, and make sure to catch the sunset behind the dunes of the Sahara desert. In the evening, we'll enjoy local music and traditional Berber food around a campfire to end the night.

Day 4: Merzouga Desert – Rissani – Midelt – Fes

We'll start the day early to catch the sunrise, then continue on a camel ride back to our hotel. After breakfast, we'll drive through Rissani and Erfoud, stopping in Midelt in the Atlas Mountains for lunch. From there, we'll continue on to Fes, where our private tour ends.
